INGREDIENTS
1 cup soaked chickpeas ( soaked for a day)
1/2 cup boiled brown lentils
1 mid chopped jalapenos
1 mid red or yellow onions
5 spoons flour (wheat or whole wheat)
1/4 cup cooking oil
Spices: 1/2 spoon of each of the following
Garlic powder, Turmeric/curry powder
Cardamom powder, Salt, Black pepper,
Chili powder, Parsley
INSTRUCTIONS
Let's start making the vurger patties,
Blend soaked chickpeas with jalapenos and onions. Mix them well.
then add boiled brown lentils and spices. Since lentils are boiled and cooked, there is no need to blend them with chickpeas.
Add cooking oil and flour then mix them all well. Flour helps for the patties hold together. If you put less flour, the patties will break apart and ingredients won't stick together when pan frying them.
Oil helps the patties won't be ashy and it looks nice.
Pat patties by making circles by hand or using anything round and prepare them to pan fry. You can make as many as you can and freeze them for a later use. They look good, they smell good when you pan fry them and they taste delicious.
